My Prayer With You Today

Happy Thanksgiving!

November 23

Scripture Readings:  Proverbs 22:7-12, Ezekiel 27-28:19, I Peter 4

Reflection Verse:  I Peter 4:1

Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin.

Prayer:  Father God, physical suffering for the sake of Christ means we have been forgiven, reconciled to You and belong to You.  We are no longer living our lives according to the dictates and norms of our worldly cultural ways, but we are walking according to Your ways.  Thank You, Lord, for Your favor on me as I live my life fully in You.  Put me in places and situations that will bring You the most glory in Jesus’ name.  Amen.
