My Prayer With You Today

March 22

Scripture Readings:  Psalm 59, Numbers 26:35-65, Acts 23:12-35

Reflection Verse:  Psalm 59:17

17 You are my strength, I sing praise to you;
    you, God, are my fortress,
    my God on whom I can rely.

Prayer:  Father God, the psalmist recounts the agonizing times when his enemies were waiting for him to bring him harm.  There are times when I felt hemmed in and even watched by those who desired to find something on me.  You are my defense and strength, Lord.  I trust in You.  Thank You for showing me Your mercy and love.  Thank You for protecting and enabling me to navigate times of peril and uncertainty in Jesus’ name.  Amen.
