Scripture Readings: Proverbs 12:21-28, Jeremiah 4-5, John 2
Reflection Verses: John 2:3-4
3 When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.”
4 “Woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.”
Prayer: Lord, Jesus’ first reported miracle – turning water into wine – comes at His mother’s request. In doing this Jesus demonstrates that nothing is better than who He is and what He provides. He is our provision and meets our every need. There is no better time than right now to do what Jesus says to do in word and deed. May I obey His Word, proclaim His Word, and do the works He has called me to do in His name. Amen.
